Heya there again!
Here's the last monthly feature journal! I'm actually quitting it, because a. I don't have the time anymore and b. I know there's a lot of beautiful art out there, but now it almost feels like I have to put a journal with a lotta features and it doesn't feel like I want to do it. I don't feel ze feels anymore D:
So well, enjoy this one :') I'm still working on my digital art, though, but I have other things to do. I just saw my year was going to be veeery busy (last year = examyear) so I'll need the time I can have. I will make exceptions (payments, storyline & deadlines) but still, if you don't see me here, assume I'm studying :')
Here we go! I want to thank everybody who's looking through my journals for the features, because I did my very best to bring them up to you. I didn't do it because I like the artist, no, I did it because I liked that specific piece of art. I say why it's interesting me in an objective way. If there's more like this kind of art made by the same artist, I'd mention it.
So thanks to you, lil' watcher

Little comment; I am a fan of contrasts and especially with flashy and complementary colours! Orange is complementar with blue, while red is with green and yellow with purple. (Simple examples). I also love the light-dark contrast in here, the nice saturation and the slightly sketchy look on the mushrooms against the more shaped black rabbits. It's all about contrasts here but I love it and the artist did a very good job

Little comment; Now you must know, ever since the wars began, there will always be migrants. So it happened when the war in Syria began. (And much more, talking about IS) Chaos came when the migrants went away from the country they were escaping from. This illustrates the 2000 migrants who died in the Mediterranean Sea, between the continent Africa and Europe. 2000 migrants died because they wanted to find a place where there was peace and 'kind of normal people who don't kill eachother'. It's such a beautiful and strong work it brings me to tears everytime I think about the reason and the message behind it. It's awful what's happening to these people, and it's awful what others think of it. (Especially the people who live in the countries who pick them up, the ignorant people who don't know why they're all in the streets with hunger and harsh memories. They may know, but they don't understand the situation all too well.). It's beautiful not only because of the message, but also from the artwork itself. The light looks like the sun is slightly setting, which could point to 'the end', the colours are very soft and the water is neatly done. The man holding the sea like a blanket looks at peace and painless. As if they were just sleeping. I think, between the terrible and horrible things that happenend to them, the sea might actually be a better place to be... The only one picking them up where others let them down.
3. Daily Paint #1007. Plague Doctor by Cryptid-Creations
Little comment; Something lighter this time. It's another daily paint by Cryptid-Creations! I'm just so happy I discovered this artist, their daily paints, how small they may be, are just perfect in their own way. This one just happened to put a smile upon my face when I saw it. I mean, I'm not a fan of needles, but the contrast between the huge needle and the little Plague doctor running on his small feet... Ahw com' on, it's just adorable This one doesn't need a detailed background, this simple paint is perfectly fine!
Thanks again and maybe I'll see you in one of my (other) journals c:

Les Vendanges 2022 - Ice 'n Fire - CLOSED
🌋Les Vendanges Event 2022 - Ice & Fire🌋 @MSLpointFR presents The third edition of Les Vendanges is held in France and Iceland this year. In South-West France, where MSL is located, the months between July to October, harvest is done in the grape vine fields. MSL gathered farms and wineries in both countries to once again offer a fun challenge for your horse & rider teams! This year, the region has been dealing with extreme droughts and wildfires, which will be reflected in the decorations of the classes. The France part will be held on the beaches along the lighthouse of Cap Ferret, whilst the classes in Iceland will be held at the black sandy beaches near lighthouse of Svörtuloft. There will be four classes and two side activities for fun! This event is both Effort and RNG and spans over two days in September story-wise. MSL doesn’t endorse alcohol abuse and any wine tasting will be conducted under the watchful eye of our staff. For the non-alcoholic options, there will be a

Les Vendanges Event 2021 - Mini :new: CLOSED !:new: @MSLpointFR presents The second edition of Les Vendanges, but MINI! Meaning this event will have less classes than last year and they will be judged with RNG! In South-West France, where MSL is located, the months between July to October, harvest is done in the grape vine fields. MSL gathered the surrounding farms and wineries once again to offer a fun challenge for your horse & rider teams! However, this year the harvest of the grapes has been very poor because of an unusually wet summer. This impact will be reflected in the weather and autumnal surroundings. There will be two classes and one side activity for fun! This event spans over one day in September story-wise. MSL doesn’t endorse alcohol abuse and any wine tasting will be conducted under the watchful eye of our staff. For the non-alcoholic options, there will be a selection of local juices, syrups and cheeses. RESULTS journal Rules - Horse age: 4 years min. -
